“Touched By Fire" has been released!
Below are some song notes:
- “Touched By Fire” is my only older song being released with this album. It was written in the 1990's around the time of the 50th anniversary of D-Day.
- The trumpet and its expressive sound plays a featured role in this song. Creating it's part was a real joy.
- This song is dedicated to each of the soldiers and military personnel who lost their lives while serving. And to the loved ones they left behind.

Next Up is summer break where I will continue developing my piano playing ability and writing more songs. Currently I am practicing/playing a lot of New Orleans style piano which is helping to build out a stronger set of fundamental capabilities while also being conducive to songwriting. “Wells III” is in the early stages of formation and is targeted to be released in the late 2023/early 2024 timeframe. I will share updates from time to time between now and then.
