"The Shadow Within" has been released.
Some music notes:
- I wrote “The Shadow Within” in the 1990s and am very excited to finally record & release it. This is the only one of my old songs that will be included on Wells IV.
- It is always interesting to revisit an old song where distant memories and feelings are evoked while your current self is connecting with the song in a different way.
- The rock organ solo and horn parts at the end of the song were really fun to craft and both are definitely inspired by 1970's rock.
