My first performance of "It Was You" was captured in full during a recent session at The Parlor Room in Northampton, MA.
This almost fully formed piece explores themes of love, trust, and healing. I was adjusting lyrics right up until the performance and, even if a bit raw, it felt good to finally share the song.
A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful group of songwriters and friends who made this session so special.
"It Was You" is one of eight new songs I’m currently preparing to record. I’ll be heading into recording mode shortly to capture this collection, including both energetic arrangements and quieter, more intimate interpretations.
